If pronounced LIE-da, it sounds okay. But pronounced LI-da, it sounds like an incomplete form of Lydia.

I don't really like this name - I think Lydia sounds much prettier. I always think of the song 'Lyda Rose' from 'The Music Man' when I here this name.
