A young girl at my church has this name. Her sister's name is Melelia, pronounced "muh-lale-ee-uh", so the names are very similar. I think it's bold to name your child these names, they are unique and not many people have heard of them. Beautiful to hear though.

"Mahal" in Bahasa Indonesian means "expensive". In India, the Taj Mahal's name means "Crown Palace" -- taj = crown + mahal = palace.
