Marko Kiprusoff born 1972, is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens as their third-round pick, #70 overall, in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He started his hockey career with TPS, where he plays today. He has played two seasons in the NHL; 1995-96 with the Montreal Canadiens and 2001-02 with the New York Islanders. He was also on the Finnish national men's ice hockey team when they won Finland's only Ice Hockey World Championships gold medal to date in 1995.

I dislike this name (although I do like Marco). I first heard it as the name of some racist Croatian singer, and he ruined it for me.
