Comments for MAYRA:
I think it's somewhat misleading to say that Mayra's usage is "English", since it was probably created in Latin America and seems to be in widespread use throughout the Spanish speaking countries of the Western hemisphere. [noted -ed]-- Anonymous User 8/22/2007
Mayra Veronica is a Cuban-American model and singer.-- njc503 4/29/2008
In my opinion, Mayra is a lovely name. I love the sound; it's a beautiful, melodic name. I actually prefer this "Mayra" spelling to "Myra", because I can't stand the Myra Hindley associations. (I don't live in Britain but even people over here have heard of her.)-- Ailis 12/26/2009
