Comments for the name Meshach

I like the name Meshach, I think it looks better spelled Meschach, and I might consider giving a future son this name as a middle name.

Meshach Taylor is an actor who played on the tv show Designing Women.

I prefer the original Hebrew name (which, ironically, this site doesn't have in its database, in spite of the fact that both Hananiah and Azariah are listed here). And it's not just the meaning, either. Mishael sounds stronger and more wholesome than Meshach. I miss the -el in this name.

Meshech is someone who likes to be left alone.
