I was looking through Chinese names for a story I'm writing, and a character's name is Gang Ru Mu (still trying to figure out if I'll put in hyphens or not). "Strong like wood." He's the stern and acerbic father of the heroine, so I had difficulty finding a name to fit him, but I decided on this because he *is* able to deal with all the war and destruction in Wei.
