Means "bright sea", derived from Gaelic muir "sea" and geal "bright".
Why is Muirgheal included in "names with intelligent meanings"? I know that the "geal" element means "bright," in the sense of light-colored or illuminated. Does "geal" also means "bright" in the sense of clever or smart? If not, Muirgheal should be removed from the list.
