I like it. It a good and unique alternative to Marissa/Larissa/Clarissa.
Nerissa is such a beautiful name it reminds me of a well spoken beautiful honourable lady or socialite from the 1920s/30s. I can imagine a Nerissa holding grand parties in a large English country house filled with attractive and erudite finely dressed people.
I like it a lot. It sounds delicate but not precious. Lovely.
My girlfriend is called Nerissa and the name is cute and sweet, just like my girlfriend.

That is my name. I love that my mother named me this, it is a unique (like me), and I am very proud to have it. My mother just wanted to me to have a different name and I am so happy she did.
Just saw the Merchant of Venice in theater (after reading it in high school) and this name stuck with me. It's delicate and pretty.
How could you not love this name? The meaning is so cute (Sea Nymph). It sounds cute, and will age well! Just rolls off of your tongue.
I really like this name, I think it has a really charming meaning ("sea nymph"), it's great; it brings to mind a spritely little mischievous girl. :)
I like this name, but I think it feels a bit over the top. I think that the name Nerisse is much prettier, or even Nerise.
Nerissa reminds me a lot of Melissa, which I also like but find it to be very overused.
A sweet name with a nice meaning!
Not one of my favorite names but I did know a girl many years ago with this name. She was a very lively, energetic girl with a great sense of humor.
