Means "great queen" in Sumerian. Another name of Ninhursag. In Babylonian legend she was given the name Ninmah by her son Ninurta in order to commemorate his creation of the mountains. Ninmah/Ninmenna may have originally been independent goddesses who were later identified as and merged with Ninhursag.
