WAY too cutesy for my liking.
Not my taste. Don't like the OO sound in the beginning.
I like this name, it's short and simple yet has grace. I like the Oo- part.
I don't personally know anyone named Oona but it's a very nice name. Some good nicknames are Oon, Oono, Moon, and O. I guarantee the person you're using these nicknames on will be so thankful. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOna.
Utterly luminous, makes me think of the moon-a :)
I like this name with both pronunciations. :-)
So pretty!
Beautiful.
It's a fairly cute name. I wouldn't say it pretty but it's cute!
Gorgeous. ❤️.
I once knew an Oona, years ago. We're American, but she had an uncommon Irish surname and her roots were very (East Coast) Irish, so her name didn't look odd on paper. And to be honest, Oona wasn't odd to say in real life, despite it being so unlike the usual names in this country. It slowly grew on me.Only this spelling, though. Una looks too much like Spanish "uno," and Oonagh just has too many letters.
Oona is a very interesting name. It looks weird with 2 o's. It reminds me of an octopus because the name Oona is very odd.
Too close to Orla, I'd say.
For some reason I don't like this. I like Una and Oonagh, but Oona looks either like an imcomplete Oonagh or a 'creative'ly spelled Una.
I can see someone, deep in the night, crooning this name at the moon (on a mountaintop). Oona. Oona!
This name looks quite strange with 2 o's.
