I named my fish Poseidon after the 70's movie "The Poseidon Adventure."

This name is very pompous, pretentious, and over-the-top. And it would be really funny if Poseidon turned out to hate the water.

Poseidon is actually composed by the elements "poton" (water, drink) and "dē/das" (earth), hence the deity of seas and earth/earthquakes.
