One of the SONGS by Katy Perry has this name!
Why would anyone use this in an English-speaking country? Just use it in Norway, please.
Silly name.
If you're not Norwegian, don't use this name. People will make fun of you and call you "Tiger" or "Lion" or "Big Cat" and things like that.
Fine for non-English-speakers. Otherwise, forget it. It's too funny.
It's not pronounced like the English "roar", but more like ROO-uhr.
ROAR!
I don't like it as a name, sorry.
It's not an English name. I don't have it in IPA (international phonetic alphabet), but it's not pronounced like Roar. Though, I must agree that English speaking parents perhaps should steer away from this name.
A roar is a loud sound that an animal like a lion makes. I wouldn't use it as a name. It sounds quite silly.
