In the 1951 movie The African Queen, Katherine Hepburn's character Rose is called Rosy by Humphrey Bogart's character Charlie. I like this spelling and Rosie, but I think they are both adorable.

My name is Rosy and I adore it! To me it is both elegant and sweet and works well as I'm seventeen so I can still have a younger-sounding name. My full name is a bit longer and more mature so I like going by Rosy for now :)

Rosy Afsari, also known as Rosy Samad, was an actress in the Bangladeshi film industry. She was awarded the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in its very first ceremony in 1975 for her role in the film Lathial, besides numerous other awards.
