A famous bearer was American actress Roxie Roker (August 28, 1929–December 2, 1995). She was best known for her role as Helen Willis on the popular sitcom "The Jeffersons" (1975-1985). She also had several guest roles on many American TV shows in the 1970s through the 1990s.

Another soap opera princess name?

Roxie is a very adorable name that ages well into adulthood. Although it might seem a bit out of place on anyone over 50, so I'd use it as a nickname for Roxane, or Roxana if you prefer. It does have a harder feeling to it so I'd pair it with a softer middle name. My combo at the moment is Roxane Marie, with Roxie as a nickname.

This name is super cool! I really like it, but I'm not a fan of Roxanne or any of the full names, therefore I wouldn't use it.
