Comments for SAMIRA:
I don't like this name, I don't know why but it just doesn't sound right to me.-- Anonymous User 11/3/2006
A friend of mine named her daughter Samora.-- Kasi 3/12/2007
This name first appears in U.S. records in the late 1700s. It seems to have been most popular in Southern states. It is probably a variation of the Old Testament name "Zemira" (1 Chronicles 7:8). It may be related to the Arabic name, but this is speculative.-- Anonymous User 4/3/2011
