Gorgeous name! I'm amazed I'm the first commenter. I prefer it pronounced sye-rah-FEE-mah, it's prettier this way. Serafima is:

This is one of my favourite names, along with Serafina. I just can't work out which one I like best!

Sye rah FEE mah sounds awful to me, I prefer the Russian pronunciation se rah FEE mah. Very exotic, classy, sophisticated, unique name that any girl would be lucky to have!

To the poster above, the Russian pronunciation *would* be syeh-ra-FEE-ma, although the first syllable, since it is unstressed, would sound somewhere between /syeh/ and /see/.
