Comments for the name Shavonne

My mothers spelled my name as Sharvone, the "r" being silent! :D

This is the name of a fairly central character in the American cult classic "Dazed and Confused."

I know it's an Irish name, but Siobhan sounds quite ghetto to me. But to spell it like this is just plain ignorant, uncultured, and tacky. Yes, Siobhan may be hard for Americans to pronounce, but if you're really debating it that much just don't use it. The sound isn't that great anyway.
