Tommie Young is an American soul and gospel singer. Her single, "Do You Still Feel the Same Way" (written by Bobby Patterson and his label co-owner, Jerry Strickland) was a smash hit in the American South and charted No. 28 on the national R&B chart.
Tommie Dora Barker (1888 – 1978) was an American librarian and founding dean of Emory Library School in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served as a regional field agent, representing southern libraries, for the American Library Association.Barker became the first woman to receive an honorary doctorate by Emory in 1930 for her work in securing funding for the Carnegie Library School. She requested the Carnegie Corporation and Rosenwald Fund to each donate $50,000 ($730,137.14 comparatively, after inflation) a year as it moved into Emory and became a professional library. In 1940, the Carnegie Foundation endowed the school with $100,000 ($1,825,342.86 after inflation).Barker opened the Auburn Avenue Branch Library, the first African-American branch library in Atlanta, in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood in 1921.

Since 2013, he has served as the Caldwell Titcomb Professor of African and African American Studies and of Philosophy at Harvard University, where he is the current chair of the Department of African and African American Studies. He is particularly known for his work in Africana philosophy, social and political philosophy, social theory (especially Marxist theory), and the philosophy of social science.
Tommie C. Smith is an American former track and field athlete and former wide receiver in the American Football League. At the 1968 Summer Olympics, Smith, aged 24, won the 200-meter sprint finals and gold medal in 19.83 seconds – the first time the 20-second barrier was broken officially. His Black Power salute with John Carlos atop the medal podium to protest racism and injustice against African Americans in the United States caused controversy, as it was seen as politicizing the Olympic Games. It remains a symbolic moment in the history of the Black Power movement.

Guys.. If you think this is not feminine, then you are incorrect. It can be a stand-alone name, or masculine as a short form of Thomas, or feminine as a short form of Thomasina.
