Vicki Byrne is one of the four main characters in the series Left Behind: The Kids by Jerry B. Jenkins. I think that in book three they mention that her name is actually Victoria, but she goes by the name Vicki.

It sounds quite ditzy and tacky, at least as the official name. I don't like this as a nickname either. It's so youthful and girly, and bordering on trashy.

I think this is a cute nickname for Victoria. It's definitely my favorite spelling of this nickname. Maybe it's a bit outmoded for the 21st century, though. Tori seems to be a more popular nickname these days.
