Nobody names their kid this. In Israel there is a joke.

Tamir (means tall) is short
Yaffa (means beautiful) is ugly
Yakira could be the one nobody likes

I don't know about the name Yakira, but I do know a guy named Yakir. He's from Israel and he never said anything about his name being a joke.
