I love it. I really dig the association with Robin Hood.
I know two male Robins right now. One is my landlord and in his fifties, and the other is a classmate and in his 20s. The name suits both of them fine. I also know two female Robins. One is the daughter of my landlord and she goes by Robbie. She's around 11 years old. The other is a woman who actually spells it Robyn.
I don't think of Robin as popular. I can't remember seeing that on anyone's favorite list here at all, nor do I recall seeing any recent announcements. It's actually not even in the top 1000 at the social security page. Last year it ranked at all was 2004.
