Sorry I don't really like it to be honest. I never really liked Deborah.

It's very dated. I've known five, all of whom had the nn Debbie, all of whom would now be in their mid-forties or older. I have a very bad association with the last one I knew, who actually spelled it Debra. I used to neither like it nor dislike it, but now, because of the bad association, I despise the name.
Someone made a post a while ago about names that remind you of certain foods. Deborah/Debra/Debbie always makes me think of figs.

I love Deborah! It's so pretty and not overly common (these days, at least), and Biblical. A favorite of mine. :-)

I like it. I don't love it. It's just one of those in between names for me.

Well, I have a cousin named Deborah and a cousin named Debra. Imo, Deborah sets iself up for being pronounced like Deb-er-a or even (by some) De-bor-a. Debra goes for Deb-ra. It's all in your taste. Personally, nmsaa, but it's definitely not a bad name by any stretch.
