Shae names. I just don't like the sound of it, and Shayleigh, is very complicated spelling for a name that sounds relatively simple. I think it's the 'y' in
Shay and then you expect a 'y' for for the "leigh" sound (ie: ly). Too complicated, and it doesn't sound nice anyway.
However, as a middlename that doesn't get used much, I suppose it would be sufferable.
I do like
Alexis though, very sweet.
