I like Shawn Johnson and when I think of her the name is really cute. But when I don't think of her I think it's a really ugly very very masculine name.
I agree with you about Shawna. Shawna is probably one of the names I dislike most in the world (no offense). I just hate the sound. Shawn is way better than Shawna.
Hmmm yeah Shawn is better than Shawna and not a bad name but I think with all the pretty girls names out there you can find a better one than Shawn.
I also think a girl named Shawn would have it really difficult in life because people would always assume she was a boy.
I think Shawn Johnson's middle name is Machel. I wonder how they pronounce it. Does anyone happen to know ? I hope hope hope hope it's not a silly spelling of Michelle.

Hi Lily. Thanks for your comments. I didn't know about her middle name being Machel. That is an unusual one. I wonder how it is pronounced. I wonder if it is like Michelle too, but should it not have an -elle ending? As it is, it almost looks like Michael/Michal ? Shawn Michael would definitely suggest a boy combo of course. I don't know if Shawn Johnson has ever had people wonder about her being a boy. Maybe her manner and cuteness just make the name cute for her, but I like it on other girls too.
