Karsten was born not long after a great loss. The death prompted Claude to name his son after the deceased, and so came Karsten Noble.
The children, on the other hand, cared more of newborn Karsten than their dead "Pops Chrissafer". Parker, on the one side, was very protective of his sibling and Vera was just too happy for him.
