It's my name (but not for long!), and I dislike it. It's very common and quite dull to say. On the other hand it is stable and short, so it goes well with a long surname. It has a nice meaning as well.
I hate being called Nicky, but what I hate more is Cole (it's a male name...), which is what I'm called all the time. As well as Coley, which is incredibly infantile, and makes me feel about as grown up as a toddler.
I've never thought I looked or acted like a Nicole. Nicole to me is someone athletic and outgoing, tall, tanned, possibly loud. A social butterfly with a sunny disposition. I know that doesn't tell you much about looks, but I've seen Nicole on so many people that I don't think there is a look for the name, and can't really think of just one.
