It's funny, because I just added Rosamund to my PNL...
I don't think Rose and Rosamund are really related, especially when used as a middle name. Rose is common, fillery and generic, while Rosamund is mysterious, beautiful and almost medieval. So no, I don't think it would be similar to use Rosamund instead of Rose.
However, I would much prefer to see ______ Rosamund instead of ______ Rose! I find that no matter how unique a name is, Rose tends to ruin and cheapen it.
