Next to Kathleen and Catharina, it's my favorite Katherine variant. Love it. I slightly prefer Catia, but both are equally as lovely. I pronounce it the same as you. I think people will get it wrong about less then half the time, she'll get a lot of katie-uh, but that's not so hard to correct.

Not sure on middle names, something also a bit exotic would be gorgeous, Katia Seraphine, Katia Elisabetta, Katia Jocosa, Katia Morwenna...
