WDYTO it? LIVE (as in living without -ing) or LEEV? Does it sound too much like a nn? Would you assume it is short Olivia? Do you prefer Livia or Liviana? Why? TIA!

It's pronounced LIVE (as in "to live"). I absolutely adore it.

Love itI find it more attractive than Livia or Olivia. I pronounce it 'liv', although it should really be pronounced 'leev'.

I love it as a nickname (I say it like the word "live") for Olivia, Livia or Liviana. I would assume it was short for something unless the person had a recongnizably Scandinavian last name and pronounced it LEEV.I prefer Livia to Liviana. The latter is a little much for me.

Hate itIt's the swedish word for "life" and therefore I hate it as a name but also because a girl I knew as I child was called that. She was handicapped, nothing wrong with that but she and her family made my life miserable...Olivia if fine though.

I like Liv [LIHV] on it's own. Livia and Liviana are good too, but I'd be most likely just to use Liv.
