That's ridiculous. Alexander is universal. It's about as bad as my sister telling me Sophias / Sofias should have dark hair and eyes. Apparently, it never occurred to her that many Sophias / Sofias have light hair and eyes.
Besides, it's not like you're pairing Alexandros with a non-Greek surname. Even then, no one has the right to judge you.
