[Opinions] Recent sighted-badly named triplets!
Last night at the store, a mother and father had a super cute little boy in the cart and super adorable triplet baby girls (about 6 months in a triple stroller.
The little boy told me his name was Brayden, and I thought "uh oh..." then they proceeded to tell me the babies were: Hunter, Gunner, and Tanner.
I got middle names too, but don't remember which one goes with which. They were Elizabeth, Faith, and Rose. All I could think of is Hunt her, Gun her(like shoot her), and Tan her(like tan her hide).

At least they have decent mns to fall back on.

Hunter is the only name there that seems even remotly feminine. I like Tanner for a boy and dislike Gunner entirely. I much prefer Gunnar.

Ick. Horrific. I feel especially sorry for little Gunner.:(

Oh dear sweet Lord. :(I glanced at the names and thought, 'Ugh, horrible.' But I thought they were boys! Girls with these names?! Shoot me now. Oh wait, I'll get Hunter & Gunner to do it, and then Tanner can tan my hide and sell it for a profit. Ay-yi-ay. Horrible, just horrible. I have no other (appropriate) words.

I LOVE Hunter on a girl! Gunner I never thought of using I dislike it for both. Tanner is GP for me on a girl.I don't see them as "boys" names girls can be these things too not just boys.

Wow.... they sound like boys' names to me, but they would sound awesome on triplet boys!

As if they weren't trashy enough on boys, but on girls is just torture! Their middle names aren't helping out much either... lots of filler type stuff going on there.

I know, but I'd much rather the middle names! Triplets named Elizabeth, Faith, and Rose would be sooo much better!

Oh...oh no. That is NOT good. Not good at all...I'm completely stunned into rambling nonsense as you can see. Whilst I don't dislike Hunter, Gunnar and Tanner on males I most certainly would not like to see them on triplet boys, never mind little girls. That is completely hideous!I would of thought that little Brayden would have had something more imaginative with such unique sisters...

Hideous! Absolutely hideous. Here's to hoping they go by their middle names.

*faints from horror*I assumed they were boys, and I was eyerolling and thinking: "urgh, those macho boys' names again that are popular now", but they're actually girls? Gunner's particularly atrocious. I really don't know what goes into some people's minds when they name their kids. And the mns are oh so fillerish.

Well at least they have middle names to fall back on.Seriously though, Brayden is more feminie than either Hunter, Gunner or Tanner. Yuck!

you know? I agree! Our of Hunter, Gunner, Tanner, and Brayden, Brayden sounds a bit more feminine then the rest.

OMG THAT SO SPUNKY!!! BOYS NAMES WILL MAKE EM STRONG!11!1! VIOLENCE IS KEWL!1!11!!!!!Blergh. That's just terrible. They're horrible enough on boys and mortifying on those poor little girls.

Terrible names on girls, especially Gunner for some reason :/

Oh, sweet lord. Those are bad names for boys, but on girls? That's a whole new level of awful. Poor things.

Yuck, I agree about the "hunt her" "gun her" and "tan her". If it were triplet boys I wouldn't have even blinked. No they're not my style but they aren't completely horrid. Oh girls though, it makes my head hurt.

:( I'll admit to liking Hunter, and even liking the sound of Gunner... on boys. But on girls... sadness.

I was thinking that they're not that bad and couldn't understand what the fuss was about AND THEN I saw that they're girls:-( As if the 'matchyness' wasn't bad enough, yuck!

I am SO out of the loop. I am SO old. I just am not getting this. Why oh why, with three girls to name, and all of the beautiful, feminine names that there are to choose from, why oh why name three girls Hunter, Gunner, and Tanner? I'd hate to have triplets, boys or girls, or any combination, because I just couldn't handle it, but at least one of the compensations would be the fun of naming them. Especially three girls. I can't conceive of spoiling that joy by using Hunter, Gunner, and Tanner. Really. I never thought I'd get to the age when I'd think, "What is wrong with the younger generation?", but right now, that's what I'm thinking.

AHHHHI was like EWWWW when I saw the names at first glance, then read the post and saw that they were girls. Now I want to tear my eyes out.And here I thought just seeing a BA on Facebook for a girl named Leigha Annison Alizabeth was bad...
