Help[Opinions] Clemency on a boy?
I like it a lot better than Clement, and seeing as it's a word and not a particularly feminine word, do you think Clemency would work as a boy's name? Maybe as a middle name, a la Jude Clemency?

I don't see why it shouldn't be a boy's name, but it still looks like a girl's name to me - sorry!

I think it's fine as a male name, though I prefer Clementine on a girl so I couldn't ever use it.

I think it could definitely work. I don't like it because I just associate it with "pleading for clemency" and that whole idea is one I associate with criminals. I know that it is essentially the same as Mercy and I don't mind that as a name so really there is no coherency in this opinion but nevertheless...
Jude Clemency is a very cool combo actually. I think Clemency works much better as a mn than a fn. I also think it actually works better on a boy than a girl.
