Beatrice is more timeless so I should prefer it over Beatrix. Beatrix is classic as well, but it's more associated in my mind with a particular time period, that belonging to Beatrix Potter. I admit that my heart belongs to hopelessly adorable Beatrix. The nn Bix is so cute.

Beatrix Isadora (Ms Potter dancing in little more than a veil?)
