Other than Carly Simon, I think I've known of only one Carly. She is the daughter of a co-worker, in her mid-20s.
Sorry, but I really dislike Carly, regardless of how it is spelled. It seems so childish that I can't see it aging well.
My co-worker's other daughter (no sons) is Kelsey. Carly and Kelsey.
