I really, really like Annie as a given first name--not as a nickname, but a full first name.

In my family, my great-great-grandmother, whose name was Alice Augusta, had a sister named Annie Keturah, which I just love.

Am I the only one?

I like it too. My grandmother, Lilly Alice (a-LEE-seh - that's how you pronounced it in Sweden then), had a sister called Annie Ingrid, and I like both sisters names very much!

I also like Annie as a full name. It's strong enough in sound to be able to stand on it's own.

I like it. I prefer it as a nn but I also like it as a full name. Annie Keturah is great.

Nope! I like it either way. I personally would only use it as a nickname, but only because I love Annabelle/Annabella and Anwen just as much as Annie. :)

And Alice Augusta and Annie Keturah are both beautiful!
