Message: "Virginia" - Behind the Name

I have been thinking about this name a lot lately, and I believe it has found a place in my top ten.

Not only do I happily live in [Northern] Virginia, but my great-grandmother's name was Virgie, so it would honor her. I am thinking about the name Virginia Caroline, as I have ancestors who settled in Caroline County, VA (and one of my best friend's names is Caroline).

What are your thoughts and comments about the name Virginia? Be honest, please.
