I watch House Hunter's all the time and a sib set I heard the other day was Nikolai and Aliya (prn. uh-ly-uh). I thought it was very cute. WDYT?

They're pleasant... preferable to some of the more common trends... like maybe Liam and Sophia or Ehan and Lily or something.

I'm not gon' a-lye-- there's a lot of Alye in there! I like both names, though.

I like both names independent of each other (though I would have pronounced Aliya like Aaliyah), but I don't think they really go together. I'd prefer a more Russian sounding girl name to go along with Nikolai, like Anya, Alisa, Alyona or Aleksandra.

I like Nikolai but noy Aliya. Alia would be better together with Nikolai, or even better, Nikolai and Anya or Ayla

Awesome! I love both names. I wouldn't have expected to see them together, but it makes a good sibset!
I would have expected Aliya to be uh-lee-uh though.
