[Opinions] Catriona

How do you feel about the name Catriona? I want to use my grandmother's name Katherine, but I'm just underwhelmed by plain Katherine or Catherine, so a friend suggested Catriona, another form of Katherine. I can't decide if it fits in with the other names I like...

I love Catriona I think it is beautiful! I taught gymnastics for many years and one family that sticks out in my mind from time to time were from Ireland and they were Sorcha, Catriona, and Roisin, all were lovely girls and very proud of their names.

I like it, different to Katherine but not too far out. Though you'll have people who won't be able to pronounce or spell it, but you seem to get that with every name. And it's Scottish so a big plus in my book.
