Help[Opinions] Imogen and Phoebus
Imogen's now my new favorite girl name. I used to think it was just unusual, but recently it's started to strike me as romantic and ethereal, like Nimue. Anyway, WDYT? I'm sure the UKers on this board are going to tell me it's overused but that's okay by me. Imogen's practically unheard of in the US. ;)
I've been on a Latin kick with my boy names lately; my favorites are Ignatius, Marcus, Christian, and now Phoebus. WDYT? Is it too much? Would it fit in a sibset with Imogen?

I love Imogen! I completely agree with you that it's quite ethereal. I live in the US and I have never met one.
As far as the boys names go- I love Ignatius, but I think it's a bit too matchy with Imogen for my tastes. I think that of your choices, Marcus works best with Imogen.

Imogen is awesome, but Phoebus=penis. That's all I hear.

Imogen *is* practically unheard of but in my neck of the woods, Imogene reigns supreme especially in the geriatric community (which isn't a bad thing, mind you). Like you, I like Imogen and Imogene ;) Phoebus isn't really my thing. Looks too much like some sort of unmentionable body part (but then again that is Latin for ya). I do like Marcus and Christian with Imogen.
