The people of Norway are overjoyed to have a little prince and heir to the throne at the royal palace. Some people were a bit disappointed that Queen Ellinor decided not to stick with the tradition of using Haakon as the future king's first name but Ellinor and Christian both decided they didn't want their son to be "Haakon VII" but instead they revived the name Friedrich from the family tree. They did use Haakon as one of this middle names to honor his deceased grandfather, and Christian to honor his father.
