[Facts] Draven (Surname)
I've been trying to determine the origin and the meaning of the surname Draven. So far no luck. However, when I do general searches on this name, it seems to be associated with paganism, withcraft, Goth, Sci-Fi, and Comics. Can anyone tell me where this name originates from and it's meaning? Thanks,
Lisa

The reason you've been getting results associated with comics and sci-fi is because of the character Eric Draven in The Crow, which started out as a comic, and there is now a series of comics, books and movies. You've probably also been getting Brandon Lee in your results, because he died in the filming of the movie playing the character Eric Draven

The Oxford Concise Dictionary of English Surnames doesn't have DRAVEN, but it has DRAVE. A certain Ellis de la Drave lived in the 13th century. The meaning of his name: "Dweller by the raod along which cattle were driven".
