[Opinions] Re: Berhta / Bertha
My favorite form is French Berthe, "behrt." I love it. Bertha still has that "birth" sound in there. But I think of Jane Eyre and "Bertha Antoinetta Mason" and it does have a lovely, Victorian, frumpy-chic vibe to it. I've never heard of Berhta before. I'm off to check out the link to see what the pronunciaiton is. I suspect it's the same as French Berthe, but with an "-uh" on the end. If that's so, then it is very pretty.P.S. Another Gladys convert? Yay!
