[Opinions] Re: Halo
in reply to a message by guru
I like the word and the imagery that goes along with it (I think of moon haloes), but I think it's kind of hard to take it seriously as a first name despite wanting to like it. It seems more feminine to me. It basically falls under the same category as Tiara in my mind. I like it better than Tiara, but it still lacks substance and strikes me as a little on the fragile princess side. The fact that it's the name of a popular video game also makes it seem a little odd as a first name plus I can imagine it being used as a stripper name.I prefer Ayla, Aylin, and Hala, which have "halo" meanings, rather than Halo as a first name.
