[Opinions] Irish Boy name for a character like Edmund
I need help coming up with an irish boy name that would fit a character akin to Edmund from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. He starts out selfish, whiny, and betrays his sister who gives up a lot for him. I want a name that has a babyish sounding nickname (like Timmy) but also has a grown up, mature name that the character can grow into (like John or Alexander).

Donnchadh - Dun-a-ka. He could be Donagh (Dun-a) or Donie when young. I think both Donnchadh and Donagh are great names.Seamus - Shea or Shamie could be nicknames. Sean - Seanie or Seanín.Any name beginning with Con. Connie could be the kiddish nn.Diarmuid - Jer-mid. Jerry could be the kiddish nn.Jarlath - Ja or Jerry could be the nn.Is this what you are looking for?

I am looking for a boy name that is popular for 7 year old boys right now that has a weak/baby sounding nickname, like Timmy, with a manly, strong, mature name like Alexander. I am trying to coordinate his character growth with every aspect about him.
