Elaine is beautiful, and I also like the Elaine of Astolat connection. I think it's my favourite Arthurian name -- I was never a big fan of Guinevere or Lancelot, heh.
I think if I were to use Elaine, I would use it as a middle name. It seems to make good mn combos with many of my top girls' names. I really like Margery Elaine in particular.
