Help[Games] 2011 Name Of The Year tournament
The blog nameoftheyear.blogspot.com is a site devoted to finding the most awesomely/hilariously/unbelievably bizarre/awesome/hilarious names. Each year they assemble a ballot resembling the NCAA ballot and have a tournament to determine the single Name Of The Year. The NOTY is determined by the votes of the readers. I'm not active in the community based around it, but apparently NOTY junkies get as intensely involved in this tournament as sports junkies do sports rankings.
It's gone through a real decline in activity, though. The updaters have gotten lazy and lost a lot of steam. So I figured: why not bring their ballot to BTN, and have our own NOTY tournament based on their finds? It won't be as involved, but it could still be cool. The rounds can go up pretty quickly and, since the votes are public, if I get lazy updating (highly likely) I can ask someone else to take over. (It's funner if you don't look at other people's votes until they're tallied and released, though.) And you don't have to vote in every round, of course.
Basically it's a longer scale this-or-that game, based not on tasteful first and middle names but on incredible real-life full names. You're supposed to vote on whichever name blows your mind most, not the name you'd most like to have.

As you can see, just like in sports tournaments, there are four "regions." I'll post them as replies to the OP, and you can put your votes under them. (I'm not sure how the procedure for Seeding works, but I'm gonna work under the assumption that they're basically random)
