Maybe I'm really old or something because I've never heard of that show, but I watched Nickelodeon all the time when I was a kid! In what years was it on?
Anyway, I used to dislike Ginger because it sounded stripper-ish, but I've lately changed my mind about that. I can still get that vibe, but I ignore it. I think if it's used as a name on its own, it's more tacky like that, but I'm starting to kind of like it as a nn. It's sweet and shy and makes me think of gold (because of ginger... because otherwise it's green and red).
