What do you think of the name Mari? It's Welsh, not "kreatyv", just for the record. How about pronounced as "MAHR-ee"?

Well, I plan on naming my first daughter Mariella nn Mari, in honor of my sister Mary. So I quite like it :)

I like it a lot. I don't really pronounce it like that though; it's got a shorter a sound.

Two of my cousin's has it as their middle names, but for them I think it's just a different spelling of Marie.
I don't like it, it looks so...unfinished?

I pronouonce it MAHR-ee. What other way to pronoounce it is there?
I've known two: one was a teacher and the other is a young girl (maybe 6ish?) But in the case of the young one it's short for Marissa.
