I like a lot Greek male names because I think the "os" ending is so handsome. I'm particularly fond of Stavros. I also think that Kyriake is very cool.
For girls, I love the name Eleni.
One of my favorite books is Corelli's Mandolin, which takes place primarily in Greece. Two of the main characters are the Greek doctor Iannis and his daughter Pelagia. I adore Pelagia! I've tried to looked up Iannis, which I assumed was a Greek form of John but the closest I've found is Ioannis. I don't know much about Greek, so I don't know if Iannis is a common form or not. I like it though!
I like a lot of other names used in Greece, like Sophia, but I don't of them as being strictly Greek (or at least confined to popularity in Greece).
