Lilah - LYE-laI'm from Canada. In my city there is a major street called Leila and it is pronounced LEE-la so that has influenced my pronunciation of it probably.

After viewing the other responses, I was beginning to think I was the only person here who pronounced Lila that way. Oddly enough, we're on opposite sides of the world.

I pronounce Lila LEE-la as well. Mainly because it's a Sanskrit name and I feel it is the correct pronunciation but also because it sounds nicer and makes sense to me.

I know four Layla/Laila's and they all prn their name as Lay-luh. I have never met anyone named Leela or Lila.
